Booked a surprise bday lunch for my wife’s birthday. Two and a half hour road trip that was worth the drive. Bettie’s was the only upscale Haitian food restaurant I could find. Very upscale little cozy place that was perfect for a family of 10. Prices are reasonable for the one on one service you receive. Bring you own bottle. My wife really enjoyed her birthday surprise. Thanks Betties!

My experience at Betties was enjoyable, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the awesome ambiance. The food was to die for! The very delicious seasoning and flavor were on point. The staff was very kind, respectful. The owner himself came out and greeted us. Thank you Chef Benel for an amazing experience, and I will definitely come back .

The food here is fantastic! My fried fish was seasoned beautifully, I had every bit. My husband really enjoyed his steak though it was slightly over cooked, but he was all about the garlic sauce. The flavor was just so good. They should really bottle their seasoning and sell it. The tostones and yams, were yummy, I enjoyed their croquetas and the pork and beef that came with it was perfectly cooked. The restaurant is nice but initially dark, we realized Everyone had their own lamp so it was charming after a while as more people came. The owner came out to greet us and he was very friendly. The food took time but I'm ok waiting if it's gonna be worth it, and it certainly was. People checked in often on us and they used cardboard boxes for take away which I appreciate. Will be back!

The food was good. I think it's worth the try. At least the first time. I have the Lalo and rice with Stew peas. It was very good. The fact that I could bring my own drink was really good. Also. I think the prices are kind of steep, but the quality of the food was good too. I think you're paying for the food and the space that's provided. The ambiance is really nice. This is somewhere you could go with your family, grandma, mother, aunt and children. I really like the fact that I saw families in there with their kids and I saw couples and friends. The waitress was really nice and accommodating. She checked up on us frequently. They offered us water and were really nice. The appetizers came out and were tasty. The garlic wings were really good. The planting cups were great. I have no complaints, except that they don't serve alcohol. But that's a just a suggestion. I think they should make at least four signature drinks that tastes amazing when you add a sparkling wine or flavored liqueur. This way they can sell their own drinks and people can BYOB and compliment them with their alcohol of choice.

Restaurant was very nice and clean. The staff was very accommodating to my guest. The owner of the restaurant was extremely hospitable. I thought it was very nice of him to introduce himself to his customers. I love love love the food. The food was very tasty and delicious. It reminded me of my mother’s cooking

The owners Chef Benel & Pete provided outstanding service. All of the food was fresh, made to order and delicious. Top quality. Highly recommend this BYOB spot for authentic Haitian & Carribean food! Love that the ambiance was modern, intimate & sexy for a perfect date night.

Always love trying a cuisine I don’t get to have to often and the HAITIAN-CARIBBEAN inspired menu at Bettie’s has me hooked!! The vibe is perfect for date night and perfect for exploring this menu! Highly recommend trying out the Plantain cups filled with 3 delicious diverse meats including ground beef and a delicious pork and get the Pates filled with herring! A must try is their Lalo - a west African traditional dish served with crab and goat along with rice and black beans! They finished the meal with a Banana pudding ice cream homemade and super unique and tasty!

The food was amazing and the service complimented it very well. Our server, Nicki, was so sweet and attentive. She took great care of us and gave us great recommendations. We had the fried goat and rice and beans, and also the snapper. The chef did not disappoint. We will definitely be coming back!
